Hold Job

The hold job refers to a job that is temporarily stored on this machine. The hold job list of Print Manager allows you to view the status and information of hold jobs and perform various operations such as printing, copying, and file renaming. Also, a hold job can be stored as an HDD job. For details, refer to Hold Job.

The hold job (without RIP) refers to a job that can be saved in this machine with no RIP processing executed. A print comprised of a large amount of data requires a long period of time for RIP processing, so this function is useful when you only want to store data before processing. For the stored job, job editing or print instruction is available using Print Manager. However, page editing or tone curve adjustment is not available for the hold job.

Once a job is set to a hold job, it cannot be returned to the state without RIP. For details about RIP settings of the job to be uploaded, refer to RIP Settings.
