Web Browser Settings

JavaScript

JavaScript must be enabled. Follow the procedure below to check the setting.

  • Internet Explorer: Select Internet Options from Tools, select the Security tab, and then click Custom Level in order to select the option marked "Enable" for Active scripting.

  • Firefox: JavaScript is enabled by default. For details, refer to the Firefox Help.

  • Microsoft Edge: JavaScript is enabled. If the use of JavaScript is disabled on the computer side, set to Enable.

Cookie

Cookies must be enabled. Follow the procedure below to check the setting.

  • Internet Explorer: Select Internet Options under Tools, select the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to the High privacy setting.

  • Firefox: Select Options - Privacy & Security - History from Tools, and select Use custom settings for history from the Firefox will drop-down list. In the options that now become available, check Accept cookies from websites. (for Firefox 59)

  • Microsoft Edge: Click the Utility Menu in the upper-right side of the screen , select Settings - View advanced settings - Cookies, then select Don't block cookies.

Cache

Check the following cache setting from the Web browser.

  • Internet Explorer: Select Internet Options under Tools, select the General tab, and then click Settings under Temporary Internet Files to specify Every time I visit the webpage under Check for newer versions of stored pages:. (for Internet Explorer 11)

  • Firefox: Select Options - Privacy & Security from Tools, and select Override automatic cache management under Cached Web Content to set the cache capacity to 0 MB. (for Firefox 59)

Tips
  • Some Web browser versions may provide different menus and item names. For details, refer to the Help for the Web browser.

  • Check the settings of the cache function. With the cache function enabled, timeout occurs in the administrator mode, and after that, how many time you try to access, just timeout recurs. It results in the Control Panel of this machine being locked, and you cannot handle the control panel. In this case, turn the main power on again.

  • This example uses illustrations for ineo 6136. Some screens may not be displayed depending on the model.
